ProExhibits Designs Radical Experience for Extreme Networks New Data Center Launch
ProExhibits was recently selected by Extreme Networks to produce their new state–of–the–art, multimedia trade show experience at Interop Las Vegas.
Extreme Networks provides mobile network solutions that help meet the needs of enterprises and service providers. According to Darius Goodall, Extreme Networks Product and Technical Marketing Manager, “This year’s Interop show was crucial to us as we were launching major products. We had to create a worthy stage. We knew what we wanted to accomplish and had to find the right exhibit partner to bring our priorities together and create a visual delight. ProExhibits’ team completely absorbed our requirements and challenges. They came back with an amazing design interpretation. From that point forward, things just fell into place.”
Several design elements heightened the viewer’s experience of Extreme Networks new product introduction. Within the 30’ by 30’ space, the completed structure was 24’L X 24’W X 20’H with massive wall murals making it stand out on the show floor. Further drama was created in a closed viewing environment where a multimedia presentation was uniquely choreographed to music and theatrical lighting.
While this was happening, the ‘star of the show’, Extreme Networks newly announced data center solution, the Extreme Networks® BlackDiamond® X8, expected to begin customer trials in October 2011, sat shrouded by fog inside a custom built display case. At the appropriate time in the presentation, lights came beaming into the product display, the music became heavy with bass, and the fog was quickly drawn from the display case. Simultaneously, a foot of fog shot across the floor, giving the effect of being in a cloud – a precisely synchronized unveiling of the new product. According to Goodall, “Staging of every component strategically created an extraordinary atmosphere of excitement and focus that showcased our products perfectly.” Dick Wheeler, President of ProExhibits, says, “Our ability to create experiences that are both highly functional and support our client’s brand makes ProExhibits unique in the industry. Our goal is always to create the ultimate event for our client and for their customers and prospects.”
Extreme Networks also felt ProExhibits exceeded their expectations with its on–site management system. Will Chan, Extreme Networks Channel Director, said, “We saw the importance of having a trade show partner that knows how things work in the field and how best to utilize resources.
