The Opportunity
Yakima Chief Hops, a grower-owned network of family hop farms based in the Pacific Northwest, sought to expand its presence globally while maintaining its dedication to sustainable practices and long-term excellence. With a successful foothold in European and Asian markets, YCH needed an innovative, scalable trade show solution that would reflect its strong brand identity. Their primary goal was to engage international audiences with interactive and immersive experiences that showcased their product—hops and beer. With shows scheduled across three continents, including an urgent timeline for China Brew China Beverage, they needed a partner capable of designing a flexible, globally relevant exhibit program.
Our Approach
ProExhibits stepped in to meet YCH’s challenge with our extensive experience in global trade show design and logistics. We designed three modular, scalable booths, each tailored to the unique space constraints and regulations of Asia, Europe, and North America. By using similar design specs across continents, we maintained YCH’s brand consistency while adapting each booth to fit the local requirements—whether it was a 9x5m booth in Asia or a 20x40ft footprint in the U.S. To ensure an interactive experience, we integrated custom-built pouring stations and sensory counters, allowing visitors to taste the beer and engage with the hops in a tactile way. These elements were adaptable, so even smaller booths in cities like Liverpool could deliver the full YCH experience.
The Results
The success of YCH’s global trade show program was immediate and impactful. With our modular design, YCH could scale their booth to fit any space while retaining their core brand experience. The seamless coordination with overseas fabrication partners allowed us to deliver booths on tight timelines, avoiding costly shipping delays. YCH’s booths became an instant draw, standing out at major shows and offering visitors a unique, engaging experience. As a result, YCH has booked additional shows, and we are already working on enhancing the design to accommodate even more storage and flexibility.
