40′ X 40′ Custom Exhibit Solution
GA Telesis is a leader in commercial aerospace, offering aircraft leasing, overhaul, repair and aircraft replacement parts to customers located across six continents. They turned to ProExhibits’ experts to design a cohesive, compelling 40′ X 40′ exhibit evolved from two currently-owned structures. Maximizing opportunities was the targeted goal, from successfully branding the company to gaining a high degree of visibility while significantly increasing traffic. In order to expand sales opportunities, GA Telesis also wanted to be able to interact with attendees on many levels, including privately.
The Challenge
Successfully meeting the client’s goals, while uniting two existing structures into one, entails highly innovative design and fabrication strategies. For example, even though the two systems had been developed to work together, design modification plus repairs and restructuring would be required to meet event requirements. The total solution involved extensive quality control to ensure safety, design compatibility, new build drawings and CADS, plus ProExhibits’ team of building experts and designers to develop a cohesive integrated look and feel.
The Solution
With unique modifications, ProExhibits molded the two exhibit properties into a spectacular environment. Show attendees were tempted into a VIP airport setting, complete with shoe-shiners, comfortable seating and fresh coffee. Anchored by an airport-themed café, the area was offset by a beautiful wood-grained interior, replicating the inside of an actual airplane in minute detail. As an illustration, monitors were encased in beveled enclosures which gave the appearance that the viewer was looking out of an airplane window from inside. Guests were able to tour the world in the café setting as they relaxed from the show. Carrying forward the airplane theme, the exterior of the cafe’ mirrored the round exterior of a commercial aircraft. The individual double-decks, joined by a bridge, completed the overall smooth, sleek effect being sought. The upper decks housed two separate conference rooms where GA Telesis’ executives and their guests could conduct business in a relaxed and interesting environment.
The creative fusion of two structures into one yielded several marketing and selling advantages for GA Telesis. In addition to increased functionality, the structure design maximized visibility from anywhere on the showroom floor. The combination increased traffic and also the opportunity to enhance relationships, always difficult in an event environment. ProExhibits’ President, Dick Wheeler, states: “Like GA Telesis, ProExhibits pays attention to every detail, from planning to execution, to help our clients maximize results. Using the team’s years of experience, superior design excellence and in-house manufacturing capabilities, our marketing solutions often help clients significantly exceed their goals. In this case, creatively crafting two existing structures into the ultimate marketing vehicle led to extraordinary return on investment for GA Telesis.”
